Darcy Burner is running for Congress in the 8th district in Washington State. Her race is being heavily targeted by the national parties and if successful, she will bring an independent and intelligent voice to the U.S. House of Representatives. Darcy grew up in a military family and worked hard to put herself through Harvard. After graduation, Darcy worked for 12 years in the high tech sector, including executive experience at Microsoft. After having a baby in 2003, Darcy realized that if she wanted to make America and the world a better place for her son to grow up in, she would have to take matters into her own hands. Darcy left Microsoft and has devoted her time to her family and to her race for the United States Congress.
