Wish You Were Here

June 2nd, 2006 by Joshua Skaroff

Yesterday it was announced that among many other cities, New York City will face a cut of $83 million in its federal counter terrorism budget, a reduction of 40% over the previous year. The reason cited? New York’s lack of “national landmarks and icons.” Yes, Michael Chertoff still has a job.

Witness Sen. Clinton’s response:

Wish You Were Here

Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY) and Congressman Peter T. King (R-NY), Chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security, are responding to a Department of Homeland Security claim that New York City has no “national landmarks and icons” by sending DHS Secretary Michael Chertoff postcards of famous New York sights…

Oh, and DC is also not important according to DHS. WTF Is It Now??? has more.

Why should anyone on the east coast, left coast or anywhere in the heartland be worried? Bush (I mean his handlers), orchestrated 9/11...just follow the money...
why were there no plane wreckage/parts found at the supposed Pentagon crash?...why did the Towers IMPLODE? Imagine two planes smacking into the Towers
yet not EXploding all over new York? hmmm? No one seems to want to openly engage in this kind of discussion and NO I do not believe the 9/11
"Commission". Voting is the narcotic of the masses.
We citizens get the government we deserve....anyone care?
