Looking like the hype is passing for ex-football star Lynn Swann’s (R) gubernatorial campaign in PA. A new Quinnipiac poll shows Gov. Ed Rendell (D-PA) leading Swann 47% to 37%.

Said pollster Clay Richards: “Gov. Rendell continues to lead Lynn Swann by a double-digit margin even though both his approval rating and favorability have dropped. Mr. Swann’s favorable rating also has dropped slightly – likely because of his fumbles in answering questions on key issues.”
